About

TMC was founded in 2004, and the company is mainly a music and film company – with new working areas as Management and Concert booking.

On the music side of the business we are a “so-called” 360 degree company including all disciplines related to artists and their making. A format which was already introduced 5 years ago by Managing Director Gert Holmfred, the so called TAM business model – Total Asset Management, involving Management, Publishing, Merchandise, CD distribution, Digital Distribution to the Internet and mobile phones.

As a Film / DVD distributor TMC is fairly new on the market, starting late 2007 with representing Liberation, Bluepark and Clearvision in the Nordic Region.

Besides being based in Stockholm Sweden – TMC is active in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia – Finland and Lithuania via partnerships with Edel and Bomba.

TMC is distributed in the whole region via the distributor GDC.

TMC distributes labels such as Café Del Mar, Difference, Orange, Wide-awake, CNR / Mostiko, Liberation, Clearvision, Marvel, UFC, World Golf Explorer, CoraZong, SDJ, Stefano Cecchi Records and have a wide spread licensed repertoire released on their own labels from various sources like Toco International and Rightsman, which include albums from Marillion, The Brand New Heavies, Coolio, Ronnie Spector to dance and pop projects like 2Unlimited, Jeckyll & Hyde, Akcent, Active, Camille Jones, DJ Jürgen, Armin van Buuren, Infernal, DJ Bobo, Tiësto, Kaye Styles, 4 Strings and more.

This material is released on TMC’s own labels which include “Loungestyle”, “The Dance Division”, “TMC”, “The Groove Thing” and “I Can Hear Music”….to these label identities local artists are also signed.

TMC has also been very successful with “self developed brands” such as Nordic Loungestyle, Tuning Hitz (focussed to the Tuning industry and sold up to 85.000 copies, just in 2007)

Kidz Hitz Party and Everybody Dance Now – all brands mainly with hit repertoire from partners like Edel, Mostiko and major repertoire source Toco International who represents more than 15% of the European Dance / Pop Repertoire, and of course TMC’s own A&R production..

The yearly turnover for the company (the group in total) is around 2,5 million dollars and a fair amount of the turnover relates to digital revenues, license income, publishing and of course a main share comes from CD Audio and DVD sales. DVD sales are set to 20 % of 2008 turnover. The turnover of the company is budgeted to be around 3,5 million US Dollars in 2008.

The company has 12 employees spread over the region, but the back office’s function in Stockholm carries the main staff of 7 people.
